Who We Are

Serving West Virginia Broadcasters Since 1946

Since 1946, the West Virginia Broadcasters Association (WVBA) has been the unified voice for radio and television stations across the Mountain State. Our members power the local airwaves — keeping communities informed, entertained, and connected.

While technology and media have evolved dramatically over the years, our mission remains steadfast: to strengthen, support, and advocate for West Virginia broadcasters. Whether you're seeking legal guidance, professional training, or statewide advocacy, the WVBA is your partner in broadcasting excellence.

Our Mission

The WVBA exists to promote the art and business of broadcasting, foster cooperation and understanding among broadcasters, and uphold practices that serve both the public interest and our industry's continued success.
